Jonathan
W. Greenfield, D.V.M. Dr. Greenfield
graduated with honors in 1971 from the University of
Illinois. He is a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society, and
received the Upjohn Award for Clinical Excellence in both his
junior and senior year. He also holds a Master of Science
Degree in Neurophysiology from the University of Illinois.
His special interests include internal medicine, especially
cardiology, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Since 1986, he has been the host of the popular television show,
"The Family Pet"
which airs weekly on News 12 Long Island. Dr. Greenfield is
the past president of both the Long Island Veterinary Medical
Association and the Syosset -Woodbury Rotary Club. His
association with the national, state and local Veterinary Medical
Associations has brought him many honors including the Meritorious
Service and Public Service Awards. |

Harlan B.
Gothelf, D.V.M. Dr. Gothelf graduated from Tufts
University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He also
attended undergraduate school at Tufts where he earned a B.S.
in Mathematics in 1994. Upon graduation from veterinary
school, Dr. Gothelf moved back to practice on Long Island where he
grew up. Dr. Gothelf's special interests include
endocrinology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and minimally
invasive surgery/procedures (endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound).
He is a member of the national, state and local Veterinary Medical
Associations. Dr. Gothelf enjoys meeting with the
clients, caring for their pets, and nurturing the
human-animal bond. |
